Description: It is the 14th and nobody seems to have noticed that it's Clancy's birthday. The boys are secretly arranging a surprise party. To get Clancy out of the way for the day, it has been arranged she will go with Matt to Gavin's Weir to help with the depth survey. While caring out the depth survey, everything that can go wrong does go wrong. Back at headquarters, Mark and Sonny are struggling to find girls to invite to the party. After a quick trip to town, six girls are plucked out of thin air just in time for the shindig. A broken propeller shaft forces Matt and Clancy to walk back to headquarters, they take a chance and head towards Cullen Creek Road hoping someone will pass by. In a few minutes they hear a car approaching, it's Lucky Johnson and he offers to gives them a lift back to headquarters. They arrive just in time for the party. Now how lucky was that? Below are a collection of photos showing Gavin's Weir, the local shops and Cullen Creek Road.

ReplyDeleteThe building is the Conservatorium Of Music. It's location is opposite the corner of Bridge street and Macquarie street. After 47 years there have been some changers. Check out my post tilted Episode 55 Black Spider. Thanks Andrew.

Hi Luke, thanks for filling me in on the type of boat it is. The only images I have access to are from the series. I read somewhere that the N.S.W. Police Force purchased the boat when the series finished production. I will try and find a better picture of the boat.

Hi Brett,
DeleteWhere are pictures 2,11,10 and 9 taken?
Thanks
Andrew
PS - Thanks Brett for telling me where these places are. I am a huge Skippy fan/Collecter and I love to visit these locations.
I once had Information the Boat belonged to someone living in a Nursing home. The Helicopter VH-AHI was deregistered in Australia during the early 1980's and was eventually re-registered with ROTORWORK (Company name has since been changed)for Mount Hagen duties in New Guinea. All this happened many years ago and the current whereabout of VH-AHI is unknown.
