Location: Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park , Elizabeth Bay & Kings Cross
Description: A friend of Jerry's named Maggie is being followed by two mysterious men. Unsure of what to do, she telephones Jerry and arranges to meet him at Ranger Headquarters. Disguised in a dark coloured wig, sunglasses & white overalls, she leaves her apartment believing she is no longer being followed. She then rides her motorbike to Waratah National Park. Below are a collection of photographs showing Maggie's apartment, Maggie riding her bike, the bad guys, the police finding Maggie's bike and Skippy leading the police back to Ranger Headquarters. I have included a black & white image of the Village Centre, photographed around the same time as the Skippy episode in order to give people an understanding of where the staircase was in relation to the existing red brick building.

Other Filming locations in the episode "Maggie" are along Darlinghurst rd at springfield ave in Kings cross,(corner Roslyn st, Llankelly Pl and darlinghurst rd), The kings cross Village centre where Maggie is on the phone near the TAB and walks past the fountain, (which has since been demolished), William st and Forbes st- looking toward the city
ReplyDeleteHi Brett,great ep and great work in tracking down the locations,A little fact regarding the car that was driven by the crooks ,its a 1964 Studebaker Cruiser.Ive own the same model,so what a surprise to see it in living colour.Apart from missing its hood emblem it looked in pretty good shape ,keep up the good work cheers
